Welcome to the Department of Food Technology at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Polytechnic, Nagpur. The department was established in the academic year 2026–27 with the vision of developing skilled professionals for the rapidly growing food processing and allied industries. The department is committed to imparting quality technical education and fostering innovation in the areas of food processing, preservation, quality assurance, and food safety.

The Department of Food Technology aims to nurture young talent through a balanced approach of theoretical learning and practical training. Supported by dedicated and experienced faculty members, the department focuses on developing technical competence, problem-solving abilities, and professional ethics among students. Well-equipped laboratories and modern learning resources provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to current industrial practices.

The department is committed to preparing competent diploma engineers who can contribute effectively to the food industry and society. We extend our best wishes to all students for a successful and rewarding career in Food Technology.
